On fancy cat collars, I’ve discussed the various fashions available as well as some of the newer safety features, such as breakaway cat collars which could save your kitty’s life. The cat collar crowd isn’t quite as active as the dog collar crowd, but you should still consider providing your kitty some distinction both for his or her security and for your peace of mind.
And speaking of peace of mind, I’ve also written an article discussing the importance of pet identification tags. It may seem like an obvious point, but I’ve been disappointed with how many pet owners I’ve known who don’t take the issue of pet IDs seriously enough.
